Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in helping the homeless and working poor in Corpus Christi and the Texas Coastal Bend.  Volunteering with Metro Ministries is a wonderful way to fulfill God's call to help the less fortunate.

Volunteer Opportunities include:

• Loaves & Fishes cafeteria
• Vineyard Services
• Gabbard Health Program
  (Doctors and Nurses only)
• Administration

The City/County Health Department requires those in food service to have a food handler's permit card.  Volunteers at Loaves & Fishes must have a current food handler's permit card. You may call the City/County Health Department for class time and information.  They are located at 1702 Horne Road.  Their phone number is 851-7273.
