How to Join Our Family of Congregations

The Metro Ministries Board of Directors adopted the following definitions on how to become a Member Congregation.

A Member Congregation:

  • Contributes finances, goods, or volunteer hours valued at $100 or more annually;
  • Encourages its members to volunteer in the various ways Metro Ministries serves its clients and the organization as a whole;
  • Promises to include Metro Ministries in prayers during worship on a regular basis, and in other venues as appropriate;
  • Actively participates in and sends delegates to the Assemblies of Member Congregations;
  • Publicizes and promotes fundraising and other activities of Metro Ministries, and will provide a link to Metro Ministries on their website if appropriate, and;
  • Lists Corpus Christi Metro Ministries as a line item in their annual budget if allowable

Member Congregations are recognized annually and receive a Metro Ministries' logo for use on select promotional materials. Here is a list of the 2011 Member Congregations:
